About us:
Rockpop.de is an offshoot of Siraprint GmbH, the merchandiser for famous RTL productions and artists in the rock and pop scene such as Robin Gibb, David Hasselhoff etc.. At www.rockpop.de you'll find every kind of fan article you could want, from t-shirts to posters. At the beginning of the 1970s, just as the music business was beginning to expand, Hans-Gerd Führsen decided to join the merchandising scene by selling products to fans at local and regional festivals and music events. He worked long and hard to build up the business in those early years. The scene products that were popular at the time were supplied to the first festivals on a national scale. From 1974/75, Hans-Gerd Führsen expanded his programme by adding a wholesale business and selling the entire range not only at the venues, but also from his warehouse. The first European tour followed in 1976. Hans Gerd Führsen accompanied "Status Quo" – which was at the height of its success at this time – on the band's tour through countries such as England and all round Scandinavia. This project was carried out in close collaboration with Barry Drinkwater Bravado Ltd., London. In 1978, Hans Gerd Führsen started manufacturing textile products for fans, with the aim of becoming independent of his suppliers and to be able to fulfil his own high quality standards: He established his own screen-printing plant – which, over the years, became the basis for all of SIRAPRINT's activities. In 1979, cooperation with Bravado Ltd. increased and SIRAPRINT provided merchandising services on a large number of tours. By then, the company's business was no longer limited to the concert scene, since SIRAPRINT was now supplying many other companies, such as record firms, industry in general and television companies, including WDR, whose legendary "Rock Palace" series was completely equipped by SIRAPRINT. Together with Bravado Ltd., the Rheinhausen-based company continued to provide merchandising to a wide range of international acts. Tour artists included Abba, Kiss, Status Quo, Frank Zappa, Iron Maiden – to name just a few. SIRAPRINT GmbH was founded in 1982. The company's screen-printing activities were expanded. The decision in 1983 to install the first fully automated machines meant that SIRAPRINT GmbH is now one of the technically best equipped operations in the industry. The music and concert scene, however, is still important for the company. SIRAPRINT is one of the joint organisers of the large and super-large rock festivals in the merchandising sector. Everyone must have heard of events such as "Monsters of Rock", "Super Rock", "Dynamo Open Air" and stadium tours by megastars such as ZZ Top, Michael Jackson, David Hasselhoff, Herbert Grönemeyer and Marius Müller-Westernhagen and more. Nowadays, SIRAPRINT uses cutting-edge technology and is very successful, for example, in the world of mail order. Today, SIRAPRINT is moving into the future with new technologies and innovative concepts and is famous not only as a supplier to all the tours in the music scene but also as an industrial producer of prints and textiles. In addition, for many years now, SIRAPRINT has been successfully running concession events in the König Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, the Philips Hall in Düsseldorf, the Gruga Hall in Essen, the VW Hall in Braunschweig, the Freilichtbühne Loreley and the Gelsenkirchen Amphitheatre. They have worked here with the biggest acts to have appeared in Germany in recent years, including AC/DC. SIRAPRINT is continuously expanding its range of products, opening up new areas of activity and offering new opportunities for marketing and advertising in specific areas – making it just the right partner for you. We look forward to staying in touch and continuing to do business with you. |
